St Aidan’s Church Hall was built in 1971 adjacent to the church and is used by a variety of outside organisations as well as for our own Church activities. The facility comprises a large hall which can provide seating and tables for over 100 people with a proscenium stage. The Robinson Room is suitable for groups of 30. There is a fully fitted kitchen with the adjacent Hadfield Room which is primarily used as a food preparation and service area.
Regular Users…On Sunday mornings, the hall is used for coffee after the morning service but is usually available in the afternoon. Once a month, except in summer, we also serve a Sunday lunch for those living alone within the local community.
Facilities…General facilities include toilets, one with disabled access, and a kitchen with 2 cookers and large water boilers. Users of the hall and kitchen must provide their own cooking utensils and crockery. Hall users are also requested to remove their own waste.
