Married to Emily with one daughter, Edith.
Hobbies included photography, church music, science, astronomy, drawing. Keen cyclist and motor cyclist.
involved with Church Lad’s Brigade.
1928 Taken ill on holiday at Wrexham and transferred to Birch Hill Hospital. Resigned in September and succeeded by Rev. JD Smith.
Rev. Hartley Harrison died April 2nd 1930 and is buried in Heywood Cemetery.
The Church Tower was completed in his memory.
